So far she's been breastfeeding for nine months & no plans of stopping anytime soon. She's never had formula & any future children will never have it either :) That's false about it being a law that you can't give cow's milk until a year. It's because a child's digestive system can't digest it properly until that age. It can cause all sorts of problems. Actually, a person doesn't even NEED cow's milk. My daughter is going to be getting coconut milk after a year in addition to breastmilk.
my oldest FF till she was 10 months an the formula started making her sick so we jsut switched to 2 % milk an she has been on that every since any time we try to give her whole milk she throws it up (sshe has stomach problems).
MY 19 month old is still bf, she cant take sippy or bottle due to rythmic issues with her tounge. but she will drink my glasses of milk water if I have one ol.
My son had formula for the first 12 months (then stage 2 formula for 2 months after)
My daughter was breastfed until 25 months!
Cows milk doesnt provide the right nutrition a child needs. Also their bodies dont digest it properly. They need either formull or breast milk for atleast the first 12 months. We kept my son on formula for an additional 2 months since his iron was pretty low.
