its not just teen moms its every mom gets bashed for doing on thing or another. examples are spanking, non spanking, homeschooling, public school, day cares, working moms and SAHMs. and even if your not a mom you can get bashed. chosing to not have kids, gun fanatics, those against guns, prostituesd, escorts, cops, medicas, military. there will always be someone who doesnt like what you do or how you do or think that they do it better.
I was 21 with my first, but I agree. Some girls make mistakes and get pregnant too young, sure, but it doesn't mean they'll be horrible mothers. My best friend was pregnant and had a baby in our senior year. She finished school, went to nursing school, and is one of the best moms I've ever known.
i don't see a reason to bash any mother who does her job, but i think teen moms in particular are ridiculed because they are children bringing children into the world. it's an unsettling thing to see for some people and i think they just don't know any better way to handle it besides talking shit.

I am 20 bu found out I was pregnant at 19. I think people dont believe at that age girls are old enough to know what we want and they dont believe we can take care of another human being let alone ourselves.

All moms get crap for something. Really no matter what we do, we can't win. You know, "stay at home mom's isolate their kids, but working moms don't spend time with their kids." That kind of thing. I've never been personally or directly bashed.
