 I'm not very good at that....well at least when mine were babies.

Yes! Lol. He hated the bassinette, so we could slept for the most part and it worked well for us. I just don't see how letting a baby cry to sleep has any positive effect on their development.

 my youngest hated her pack-n-play....she mostly slept with us...and still comes with us in the middle of the night.

That any temperature over 98.6 was hospital worthy for piece of mind. My DS is almost 5 now and if I took him to the dr every time his temp reached over 99 I would be homeless paying all those bills!

Not to hold him too much. You can't spoil a newborn and he's not a clingy baby even though I almost never put him down for the first 3 months.
