summer time dinners

Since winter seems to last so long here when summer hits the family and I stay active outside as much as possible.

Soccer and football practices and games with kids, regular running errands, parks, fishing, swimming. By the time we get home from the day I dont feel like cooking dinner, or its too late to cook.

Just wanted to see what everyone else does for dinner when things get busy?

Would love some yummy crock pot recipies if you have any!

Well, tonight I'm grilling a tri-tip and we'll have some mac&cheese and a salad to go with.  But, there are some nights where we just aren't hungry due to being too busy or the weather being too hot or whatever, so we might just eat cereal that day.

Some good things for the crock pot though are pot roasts, pork loins, bbq chicken or ribs, soups, stews, etc.

When things get super busy and I don't want to cook, i'll just order out. Or stick a frozen Lasagna in the oven. My kid for some weird reason goes crazy with this frozen lasagna Lol
