Did you know how to care for a newborn?  Did you know how to change a diaper?

I did much research so I knew how to care for a newborn, but most of it was natural instincts kicked in and I was amazed how well I did things.

Yes. I had been changing diapers for years and knew a lot about caring for babies. It was much easier with my own kids.

Yes. I had plenty of experience with nieces and nephews. I had 4 nieces and 2 nephews before I had mine

I have 21 nieces and nephews, so you could say I had some experience. I think I've been changing diapers for 12 years.
