I am a mom of a little girl 5 years old she started kindergarten this year she went to headstart last year she is having difficulty in school she seems to not catch on to recognizing things like she knows her letters and numbers even her colors but when asked to match what she knows to something visual she cant seem to do it. I have had her vision checked and it is off a little but they say it is normal. I have older kids that are grown and they had the same issue and so did their father and his family. I have been to psychologists with them and doctor no one can figure this out . I know God is bigger than any issue they might have and because we have been praying she is doing better than my other 2 older kids did but I need some help petitioning for my daughter I don't want her to struggle with reading and then all the other subjects like my other 2 kids did. Liberty goes to Christian school so she has alot of extra help but prayer seems to be our only course of action because no one has been able to figure out where the block is. Please pray for her and Mrs. Peters her teacher and us for guidance.

It sounds like visual perception problems.  Google it, there is therapy that will help her process what her eyes are seeing.
