Hi

Now that my special needs daughter will spread her wings a whole lot more this fall, I am spreading my wings too. Together with a friend I am starting a special needs homeschool academy. If any of you live in the Houston metro area this might be of interest for you. Prayers are more than welcome!
Students we will be accepting will be in the following categories and subject to an interview to insure we can meet the students needs: ID, EH, LD, ADD, ADHD, autism

Non-ambulatory students will be accepted for academics upon review for necessary modifications (i.e., may need a lap desk.) As we do not have a van to carry wheel chairs, special arrangements would need to be made to be part of the afternoon program.

Thanks for sharing this. I write about camps for special needs kids on one of my blogs. Would you like to write about it as a guest writer?
