How is everyone doing? Are all your kids staying healthy with the flu going around? How about any of the other health issues you have talked about here... anyone have any updates on how their kiddos are doing?
My daughter came down with the flu last week. She is much better now though. We were very happy that the baby and big brother stayed healthy!

Just checking in!
My brother has been sick with the flu (he's been living with us) for the past two weeks and has been throwing up but luckily DD hasn't caught it and neither have myself and husband. I like to think her flu shot played a part in her immunity.
I hope everyone else and their families are battling hard against this epidemic lol!

Well my 2 older kids are sick and my husband is on his way. So far my DD and myself are not sick. Other than that all has been great, we have had 2 birthdays (teenagers) in the last 3 weeks. Birthdays so close to the holidays really suck! We are looking forward to the holidays this year! I'll take this moment to wish you all Happy Holidays!!!

Happy birthday to your teens! We are looking forward to the holidays this year too... its our first "back home"... yeah! Are you doing anything to make the holidays really special this year?

so far - knock on wood - we are all healthy. i have a slight soar thraot from the weather changing like it is but otherwise healthy.
daughter is still not wanting to eat to great. we had her rash cleared up until we slacked off on giving her her zinc. now it is back, so back to the zinc everyday.

The most we've had in the house was an upper respiratory infection and sinus infection. Both my DS and the lil boy I watch came down with it but both are better now. I worry constantly about the flu coming into our home because DF is a custodian at an elementary school which had 20+ swine flu cases in the past month. That hit too close to home for comfort. I try my best to make sure our house stays sanitized with daily Lysol spray downs and I make sure the lil ones wash their hands frequently along with hand sanitizer in between washings. I've also been working on boosting our immune systems with vitamin supplements. We are currently TTC our second child so I am trying my best to be extra cautious!! I hope my family along with everyone elses continue to stay healthy during this outbreak!

Just checking in!! My oldest daughter was sick about a month ago.. not sure with what, but she got over it and then the following week my youngest was sick and found out that she had an ear infection.. her first infection since getting her tubes back in March.. then the week after that my oldest was sick AGAIN!!! I could of swore she had the flu but found out that she had strep!! But she is well again!! My youngest has to be the healthest kid around bc shes only been sick once in the past 3 years!! shes 4!! But we have had cases of the swine flu in our small town so im very thankful we havent had to deal with that!!

Hope that you guys all stay healthy now! My daughter did have the swine flu, she just need rest and fluids and was back to her old self in no time... but I do hope you don't have to deal with that ever!
