After months and months and months of dealing with different workers and their BS "I'll have your case processed and approved in no time" I FINALLY have a worker that knows what they're doing. It took him two days to do what has taken months for everyone else. My husband is going down to the office to pick up our EBT card as I type this. I don't want to spend too much time venting so I'm just going to say that a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders. We'll actually be able to have a decent Thanksgiving feast this year and we won't have to scrimp and hope that somehow we'll be able to afford food for the next week. I'm so relieved. This deserves a celebration dinner.

YOU MIGHT WANT TO CALL THE NUMBER ON THE BACK OF YOUR CARD NOW AND LISTEN TO THE QUESTIONS AS TO WHY YOU ARE CALLING NOW AND PICK THE ONE THAT BEST FITS YOU........................................RETRO PAY.
I SAY THIS BECAUSE THE SAME THING HAPPENED TO US AND WE WENT A COUPLE OF MONTHS WITHOUT FOOD ON OUR TABLE DUE TO THEIR LACK OF KNOWING WHAT TO DO.
OUR CASE WORKER DIDN'T EVEN SUGGEST THIS NOR DID SHE CONFORM IT, A TOTAL STRANGER HEARD US (HUBBY AND I) TALKING ABOUT IT AT THE BUS STOP AND JOINED INTO OUR CONVERSATION AND INFORMED US ABOUT BEING ABLE TO GET FOOD STAMPS FOR THOSE TWO MONTHS THEIR DIDN'T GIVE US ANYTHING US HAVING US WAITING.
I CALLED THE NUMBER AND SPOKE WITH THE PERSON AND THEY TOLD ME WHAT TO DO AND WHO ELSE TO CALL AND "WOW" WE GOT THE TWO MONTHS!!! IT WAS GOOD TO FILL OUR CUBBARDS AND FRIDGE WITH FOOD.
