We are currently on WIC but I am wanting to check into FS temporarily. Does anyone know what the income requirments are for FS here in Ca? We are a family of 5 and I have no idea as we've never been on anything other than WIC before. Thanks ladies!

I know that most states you have to be under 185% poverty level, which family of 5 is 3976, which is typically the same if not higher than the limit for WIC, so you should be eligible.  The amt you get will always depend on things such as whether the money is income from a job or income from child support, unemployment, etc, how much you pay in rent and utilities, any daycare costs or child support being paid.

Can't hurt to apply and even if you qualify but get 0 in benefits (yes it is possible) there are still a ton of benefits, such as you will automatically get free lunches for kids in school, you can defer student loans, etc.
