(I think that's a huge amount of food for that price.) Try the shrimp, you can't beat the price!
I had 2 carts worth of groceries. This should give you a good idea of a lot of their prices. If you've never been there I suggest you make a trip there, stretch your food dollars even further.

Oh yes, we sure have. If you've ever seen the Duggar's (18 kids and counting on TLC) they ONLY shop there and they take a uhaul trailer to haul their groceries home! They spent like $1200 for a month worth, amazing.

I like Aldi but I will only buy certain things there. I don't buy soda (picky kids) and I don't buy the fruits and veggies cause they are usually too soft or already getting bad before they are purchased. I've never bought more than 20-30 bucks in food and stuff there though. It's a pain at the Aldi where I live cause they have such long lines and then I have to bag it all myself and with small kids I'd just about rather go to Walmart or another cheap store and move through the store and lines a lot faster and even with the "store brand" at Walmart and other cheap stores, sometimes you can beat Aldi's prices and get a better quality even at the Walmart brand on an time. Just sayin.

I *LOVE* Aldis. We finally live near one and go whenever we can. I usually spend about 1/2 as much as I do at any other grocery store.

I think the produce varies a lot by store. I've lived in an area where the ALDI was scary gross. I went in once and never went back. Where I live now, it is lovely. It is a bright, clean store. The produce is always crisp and lasts well once I bring it home.
