Going to Riverdance tonight!!! I'm worried because....

.... I hate to drive. It's a 30 min drive to my sister's and another 30 mins from there to the show. I've barely driven all winter and now I'll be coming home around midnight in the winter in the dark ... an awful combo. I'm trying to be brave because I'm sick of missing out on things because I refuse to drive.

Before my son was born I was a dancer. Recently I had the chance to take an adult dance class, wich I really wanted to do, but I had to drive 30 mins one way in the dark. I didn't register. I regrett it now.

I am NOT missing Riverdance because I'm too scared to drive! So here I go ... I'm dtermined to drive and not be terrified. It's irrational and I'm no longer giving in!

Focus on the happy feelings you will have watching the dance and the driving won't be so bad.  then on the way home focus on how happy you are for going.  the drive won't be so bad home either.  Hope you have fun.  Good luck and enjoy yourself.

Well I had a great time! I was amazed at how diverse the show was - not just irish dancing but falmenco, ameriacn tap, musician solos and singing. It was great AND I drove home no trouble. I came in and told my hubby "You're wife is awsome!" he just laughed at me but I was proud that I did something I was scared to do.
