Hi ladies ... sorry it's been so long - I guess life has just gotten away from me. It snowed for the first time today and it made me think of those long winter days stuck in the house last year and how invaluable I found all of your company.

What has been happeing, what have I missed - HOW ARE YOU? What are you up to? Has it snowed in your neck of the woods yet?

I'd love to hear from you all. I see members are down a bit - I will try to help bring them up a bit.

Hello Robin,  Isn't it funny how time flys.  Hope your summer with the farmers markets went well.  Summer and early fall sure keep everyone busy.  Course we aren't done yet with our outside stuff,  still some things to get done before we can sit and enjoy the fireplace.  No snow here yet.  Cooler weather,  frost,  lots of wind lately,  but sadly no snow.  I'm a snow bunny, I love the snow,  wish for it often during winter,  depends on the year whether we get much or not here in the Midwest.  Summer found us with successful gardens and crops this year.  It rained here yesterday which makes getting these pesty leaves up,  but they sure are pretty floating around in the wind.  How did you make out keeping the kids busy this summer?  Hope we can all get back in touch with one another as the time goes this winter.  I for one am looking forward to the Holidays coming up,  all the terrific smells from baking and cooking,  will sure miss the backyard BBQ grill smell,  but on nice cool days we still use ours from time to time.  Thanks to the guy who invented the gas grill.  lol  Post soon so we can hear all about your summer adventures.
