Oreo Turkeys
Ingredients:
Oreo Cookie, Candy Corn, Hershey Kiss (optional), Green icing , Red icing or small piece of red licorice
Instructions:
1. Twist the Oreo in half.
2. Place 4 or 5 pieces of candy corn around the top that has icing.
3. Place the flat part of the Kiss in the icing at the bottom of the Oreo.
4. Add green icing to the "black" half of the Oreo so the Turkey will "stand up."
5. Add a touch of red icing or small string of red licorice to make the waddle.
6. Eyes can be added with a dot of light colored (white or green) icing.

This is an adorable idea! I publish a email newsletter once a month and was looking for a child's craft to put on there (I have a child oriented business so my monthly eZine has child friendly crafts and such) and I came across this post.
I LOVE it! I am going to make these not only for my family for Thanksgiving dinner (we have a big extended family) but also for my daughter's 2nd grade class.........you know the kids are going to "gobble" them up...............(sorry, just couldn't resist)
Thanks for posting this, now I will look like a cool mom to my daughter's classmates......LOL!
