I am still missing my daughter that moved out about 3 months ago with her bm. I am doing a lot better mentally. I am going back to school, I am really excited about that. It is an online class, but it is something. I have learned to keep busy really helps during the down times and a lot of prayers. I am feeling a lot better. Even though this is not the ending I wanted, I really have enjoyed these kids, and I am glad I did it! I just pray that things will work out for us!!

We are in the process of adopting a 19 month old little girl. We have ad guardianship for 13 months. Parents have now signed consent for permanent adoption. What a relief!! We now need to get a home study. Any suggestions on how/where to make arrangements to do so? We are in central Arkansas.
Thanks!

My husband and I have been asked to adopted a baby girl. She is due on April 2, 2009. We have been trying to have a baby for the last 4 years. We are so unsure about what to do. We want to keep trying for our own, but we also would like to adopt this little girl.

I need some advise!!!! Any advise would gladly be accepted.

mom3898, I would request the school district do new testing. If he already has a documented disability, he is quaranteed new testing every three years, its called a MDT meeting, Multi-Disciplinary Team meeting, where new testing has to be shared. Maybe new results can be shared, especially if he has been through anything while away with BM...involve therapists too.
