Mandatory CafeMom Group Guidelines

The following guidelines are mandatory for ALL GROUPS. They are in addition to any group guidelines created by the group owner:

• Slurs, stereotyping, and hate speech are not tolerated.
• Don't annoy others by posting the same thing again and again within the same group or across multiple groups.
• No "ganging up on" or "calling out" other members or other groups on CafeMom. This includes identifying and negatively bashing another CafeMom member or group.
• No nudity, except for breastfeeding and birthing pictures.
• Photographs or images of abortion are not permitted.
• If you suspect that someone on the site is an imposter or not legitimate, do not post about it. Report the problem to CafeMom Team and we will deal with it.
• Don't threaten anyone else.
• Discussion of CafeMom's policies is only allowed in the CafeMom Discussion Group.

Individual Group Guidelines

• Advertising: Foster / Adoptive Parenting does not allow advertising of any kind EXCEPT in the designated sticky post which will be monitored and inapropriate adverts will be removed. 
• Personal attacks or disrespect on other members of the group is NOT allowed. The group owner will remove the entire post and responses without warning. 
• Cursing/Profanity: I am aware that this is something that some people don't have a problem with, but I do ask that you refrain from profanity and keep things as clean as possible.  Watch those signatures or graphics bc all of us have little eyes that could always step into the room.  When a group member has overstepped boundaries, she will be given an opportunity to change her post's wording or delete it all together.

This group was created to give foster / adoptive moms a venue in which to vent, ask questions, share advice, and voice thoughts and opinions. Members should feel welcomed and supported and are also cautioned to have a fairly thick skin.

Group members should value other members' presence within the group. When posting to the group, please remember to be courteous to your audience. Cattiness and snide remarks will not be tolerated.
