the grocery store I frequent stopped carring the Smart Balance I buy.
My younest is allergic to milk~smart balance with flax oil is the only one (aside from the organic smart balance) that is 100% milk free and can be used in all butter substitutes (baking & frying included). WELL, I read each label of the smart balances they are carrying now (man their's a lot) and found that the olive oil one contains FISH oils. Whaaaa!! My daughter is very allergic to ALL seafood. I would have never thought to read any butter substituted label for her allergies.

Goes to show ALL labels must be read for ALL allergies.

WOW that is one that I would never think of reading either. Thanks for sharing with us.  I know the other day I happen to have my son'd gatorade in my hand and one of the things in it was sun flower oil.  I was glad that he is not allergic to that.  But I guess we have to read all labels and even if we think it is safe.

Fleischmann's Unsalted Margarine is completely dairy free.  We use it for everything.  It has to be the unsalted version cuz the others do have dairy.
