...or does it. Do you prefer your books in the large print format or in regular print? Why?
I read both I get my books from the library and they have some books in large print that they don't have in the regular print size
I get large print from the library sometimes...but i realy hate it. the page layout seems all messed up. i prefer regular print.
I have the feeling I am one of the oldest people in this group. I have a love/hate relationship with large print books. They are much easier to read (I don't have to keep fumbling with my glasses) but they are so much bigger & that makes them hard to lug around (I go NO WHERE without at least 1 book). Also, large type books tend to be more expensive.
I'm 36 and I have pretty good eyesight, but I have to tell you, when I go camping I read in the tent at night with a little lantern or flashlight, I thank the Gods or whoever invented LARGE print books. : )
Eiher way, it doesn't really matter to me, as long as the book is available at my library, I'm glad to read any style. Well, except for foreign language. : )

I've read both, but I think I prefer regular print. I'm sure this is only because my eyes are still good. Ask this same question to me when my eyesight starts getting fuzzy, and I'll definitely say large print. :)
I prefer regular print-- they are cheaper and fit better in my purse (as some of the larger print books are bigger and don't fit as well).
I prefer regular print.
My husband has downloaded several books on his Ipod Touch. I DON"T like it. I don't see how anyone could enjoy trying to read on a tiny little screen.
I also have a friend that gets free Harlequin Romance Novels on her computer. I don't like reading books on my computer either. There is just something about having that paper novel that I can bookmark, and curl up with in my arm chair that is sooooo appealing.
When you have a special needs child, it is like floating in the ocean. You will have highs when you ride the top of the wave and move forward and lows when the wave crashes over you and sucks you back. As you are riding a low wave of sadness, frustration & disappointment, just keep in mind the next wave will take you back up and move you forward once more.
