I need a recommendation on a good exfoliating facial cleanser that will leave nice and exfoliated clean without damaging.  I also don't want to break the bank.

It seems as I have aged (I am now 38)  that it seems like there is more dead skin build up than when I was younger- and it interferes with smoothness.

Your recommendations are appreciated.

  • Go to Bath and Body Works (or their website if you don't have a store near you), and check out the Dr. Wexler line.  I use the Acnescription Exfoliating Acne Cleanser with Acnostat.  Dr. Wexler has a few different types of cleansers so I'm sure you could find one.  They are a little pricey (I pay $16.00 for mine), but in my opinion it's worth it.  I went 2 months without using the product because I just couldn't get to B&BW, so I was using some stuff I bought at Walmart.  Well I broke out like you wouldn't believe.  Two weeks ago I went to B&BW and bought my cleanser and my skin is already cleared up.

Here's the link to the Dr. Wexler products if you want to check it out.
