Here is a list from HSLDA.org  (home school legal defense association) which can help you a great deal if you come under problems from your Superintendant or School District.  Membership is around $100 a year but they have a payment plan where you pay $20 the first month and $10 a month thereafter.

This lists a summary of each state’s homeschool laws.  The web addresses are the same for each state except for the state name (ex, If you live in Ohio your state’s address would be: http://www.hslda.org/laws/analysis/Ohio.pdf,  Pennsylvania would be www.hslda.org/laws/analysis/Pennsylvania.pdf)

If you live in a state that has two words in the name, ex. New York your address would have an _ between the two words:  www.hslda.org/laws/analysis/New_York.pdf

Again, these are just summaries that touch on the most important parts of the law.  Please read your state’s entire law regarding homeschooling.

I spoke with the Homeschool Foundation this past week and you can also apply for a 1 year free membership to HSLDA.  She just sent me an application and told me what else is needed.
