I live in Romania for those who do not know and I am thinking of tutoring an American boy for kindergarten. He will be going to public school in new york/Pennsylvania upon return to the states. They want to keep him up to speed. I am looking into 1) what does he have to know? 2) How much time per week do you think I need to consider? They are willing to do homework with him. So I would be planning, teaching, giving homework. Could I for example do 3 days a week for 1-2 hours and be able to do all that he needs in that time? I am thinking it will be primarily reading, writing, math?
