Just a quick vent...  My sister and her husband combined make at least $200,000 a year.  They have two boys and don't plan on anymore.  I thought she was planning on sending him to a Christian school starting kindergarten, but she claims she has found this oh so wonderful public school.  I think they are just being cheap and I know they are the type that "play church".  I asked her if she was okay with her son being taught that he came from a monkey.  And that if she realized the gay and lesbian agenda concerning education.  She got offended, but I don't care.  I can't believe how cheap they are being.  I seriously fear for my nephew, he's such a sweet easy-going boy.  To me the Devil's plan for him can really get started once he enters those doors.

Not that homeschooling is the only and the perfect way, but I sure know it beats out public school.

You can't make decisions for other people's children no matter how much you disagree with them. I understand your frustration, but I think you were out of line with your sister. It isn't your to judge what her reasons are for sending her son to public school. You wouldn't like it if she judged you for homeschooling. As homeschoolers, it is easy to fall into the mindset that everyone should be homeschooling like we are, and to look down on or judge others who aren't. Um guilty of that myself. There are many people I know that I wish would homeschool and that I think NEED to, but it isn't my place to tell them that. If they ask,I will be more than happy to advise and encourage, but I won't say anything unless I'm asked. I think you need to apologize to your sister and offer support and encouragement, rather than criticism.
