I am thinking of using Time 4 Learning for my 1st and 2nd grader. If any of you ladies use this, could you please tell me what you like and don't like about it? And do you use it for the curriculum or just to supplement? Thanks!
I tried for a while and didn't like it. It seemed like it jumped around too much with the math, and there wasn't enough info in the science and history. My cousin uses it for her son though, and loves it. I think you can try it for a couple of week for free to see if you like it.
My daughter liked it, but she didn't retain much of the info, and later as the reading got more indept, she was just clicking the arrow to go to the next page and not have to read it, then she would get a 63% on the assessment. Neither rewards or discipline worked to change this, so we had to change tactics.
She's not an independent learner, though, and she struggles with focus/attention/etc... she's got a lot of issues, I'm looking at treating her (homeopathically) for ADD to see if that helps.
