DH asked the boys tonight if they really wanted to HS. They told him that they did and he has agreed. We had talked about it and he was open to the idea, but now it is official!!
I will be HS my daughter for kindergarten and the boys for 9th grade!!!! I am so excited!
I have been doing tons of research and I've been asking lots of questions to everyone in this group and other HS groups. I have been looking at curriculum prices! And all of that work has paid off!!
Can't wait until the fall!!

I have already ordered most of their stuff. For my daughter everything except Art, Science, and Social Studies, and Bible is coming from Abeka. My husband will teach her art since he is going to school to become an art teacher. I will make up my own curriculum for Social studies and Bible. For Science I will probably just check out books from the library. I ordered all teacher;s editions for her classes on ebay.
For the boys we did a mix. I ordered about half of their stuff on Ebay. We are using Algebra I, Health, World History, Typing, English, Literature, and Spelling/vocabulary from Abeka. I decided to use Apologia for Science. For Bible we are just making up our own. We are using Rosetta Stone for Spanish. The only thing I have left to order is the Spanish..
