Lapbooking?

I have fallen in love with this concept!  I don't plan on using unit studies for our curriculum (we will be using Sonlight), however I thought I could throw a few lapbooks in here and there when we study a certain topic.  My son is 4 (5 in sept) and will be working at a 1st grade level this coming year.  So this summer I am testing out the curriculum and we are coving the p4/5 stuff pretty quickly.  I have a garden lapbook all ready for when we do the nature part of the science book!  I was wondering if anyone else loves to lapbook?  I have found some great resources on the web, including premade and christian themed, however I think I may venture off and create my own! :)

We're doing a few based around the Olympics this summer.  I got mine from Currclick.  I am a big fan of free and 50 cent downloads.

 We like doing lapbooks too. I use them as a supplement to our studies.  We are doing a lapbook for our state that I bought from Currclick this coming year.  Last year we did lapbooks for frogs, butterflies, and the Ten Commandments.
