Your Prayers Are Needed! ********UPDATE*******
Yesterday I went to the ER because my Dr. sent me there! I was (and still is) having chest pressure and a feeling like something is stuck in my throat! The ER Dr. was great! I was given an EKG, Chest & Neck X-Rays and blood tests and lots of tender care. But he all my test were negative! None of them showed anything wrong, so he concluded that it may be Pericarditis which is inflammation of the artery or lining of the heart....I was NOT diagnosed, but he gave me Indocin to treat any inflammation.
I have instructions to try and get an appointment with my primary by Wed of next week, but if that can't happen I am to return to the ER. So far the meds seem to ease most of the discomfort but It starts to return as the time nears for the next dose. So, yeah....I really don't know what's wrong and I would like for you guys to be praying with me & my family. I will post an update after I return from next visit. God Bless
I went back to the Dr today. I was given an extensive blood testing (the nurse whipped out 7 tubes eeeek) and a CAT Scan of my heart (really the entire torso). I went in feeling woozy & lightheaded from the Indocin, BUT! The Dr came into the room with the results & said "You are completly healthy....all your test came back & passed with flying colors....I can't explain why you're having discomfort"! She then told me to STOP taking the Indocin and she gave me a prescription for a muscle relaxer & said it's up to me if I want to take them or not for discomfort. She went on to say it could be anxiety (I lost my father in Oct.2012). As for the "something stuck in my throat" feeling, she referred me to a ENT Dr. to get a scope done & said I may have some left over phlegm hanging on and will need a specialist or antibiotics (she gave me 1 Levequin too, but said take it only if I want to) to remove it! Thank you ALL for your prayers!
