I just got several boxes and packages of the kids' HS stuff for next year!  I have not had a chance to open it yet, since the mail lady came as I was walking out the door, but as soon as I finish eating, I am going to tear into them!!

I love getting new books!!!

I bought everything used from ebay or from homeschoolclassifieds.  I have gotten really good deals, saving at least 40%, more on most.

I ordered the Lifepac Algebra 2 and looked through and I see that I do not like it..So, I guess I will be selling it.  I think we will stick with Abeka for Algebra 2.  I also bought the Geometry at the same time, and it seemed to be ok though.

I love getting new books too!  We have already bought most of next years books on ebay and etc.  We are buying a few workbooks new and trying to order them a few at a time.

That's what we have done.  We use our tax refund to buy HS supplies for the next school year.   So far I have spent around 150.00-200.00 and have almost completely finished the boys stuff.  All I like for them are the Biology books, but I think our pastor's wife has that and she is just giving it to us.  I have bought everything on Ebay and Homeschoolclassifieds.com.

Our pastor's wife is also giving me all of her 1st grade material for my daughter.  All I will have to buy is workbooks.  I am going to do science and history on my own from materials at the library or stuff online.

It is wonderful that pastor's wife is giving you material.  Just having to buy the workbooks will save you money.
