New owner and a couple of house rules: All new members read before posting!!
Since the owner of this group has been MIA for quite some time, I decided to take ownership of the group. Not that things haven't been running just fine, but just in case something came up, like an inappropriate post, etc. that would need to be deleted.
I have a few basic rules that I'm sure ya'll would be more than happy to follow, I'm not planning on kicking anybody out or anything, at least not yet, as long as you play nice, LOL!! I just want to insure that the group keeps running smoothly.
1. No bashing, name calling or swearing. In the months since I've joined, I've yet to see anyone doing that, but I just wanted to make sure that it doesn't happen. If I see any posts with inappropriate content, I will send you a PM about it, and it will be deleted.
2. This is not a debate forum. Once again, I've never seen anything resembling a debate on this board, so let's try to keep it that way. We're all in the same boat, although we all use different "paddles" so to speak. We all use different curriculums, some use no curriculum at all. Whatever works best for you, anything goes!!! We're here to support and help each other, not argue. I don't see this being a problem, but I wanted to just get it out there anyway!! If I see a thread starting to become heated, I will lock it and/or delete it.
3.Do not use this board to promote your business. You may certainly have a siggy with your business advertised in it, but please do not try to sell your products otherwise. HOWEVER, if you have some homeschooling materials you would like to sell or give away, you may certainly do that. But do not try to peddle your non-homeschooling related products on this board. There are plenty of other boards on Cafemom for that. If I see a post with this type of content in it, it will be deleted.
4. We are all sisters in Christ so please feel free to post prayer requests here of any kind, whether they are homeschool related or not!!
