Hi 757 Moms!!!

My husband and I have not been on a date since the Prehistoric Years when the dinosaurs were roaming our land!!!  LOL! No, but seriously, we have not been on a date since the birth of our second son who is now two years old!! That's pretty bad! But, we are now planning to go out when our daughter gets out of her wanting "mommy and daddy" stage! What is the best romantic date that you all have ever been with your husbands/boyfriends? Only in the 757though, we don't have that xtra money to take trips! So, give me some feedback so that I can let Mr. Kelly know..............

My husband brought me to Williamsburg for a day once and we walked through old town and then he had reservations at this nice restaurant called Kings Arm. Everyone is dressed like the old days, there is no electricity (candle lit) and its like an old house-oh and we even had someone come and serenade us at the table w/ a violin! That's was my favorite date ever.

Also we LOVE:
The Melting Pot (Hill top-fondue)-this is like a two hour meal that comes in stages and its so romantic, the guys can call ahead and have flowers at your table. Also they have an excellent drink menu.

Ruth's Chris Steak House (town center-try the sweet potato casserole..OMG)

Steinhilbers (in the Thalia neighborhood on the water)
One Fish Two Fish (Great Neck area)

If it's a good night/evening, I suggest going to Shogun in Virginia Beach.  Its a Japanese Hibaci (so cool) and then go and take a walk on the beach.

I heard the Thia place in Port Warrick was awsome. I went to the Melting Pot, and was not impressed. I thought they really charge you alot for raw meat that you boil in a pot of broth. If you dont like the dipping sauces, your screwed. You'll just be eating boiled meat.

I would say ShoGun. Yummy food and atmosphere. We will be trying The Melting Pot when my husband comes home.

Mu husband took me to Salacia at the Oceanfront in the HIlton Hotel.  It was wonderful.  It can be a little pricey but to be honest, if it has been this long already go for.  The food was great and yes it is business casual.  I wore a dress and my hubby wore slacks and a bottom down shirt.  You do have to make reservations though
