I was friends with a gal for a short period of time before she took her own life unfortunately.  : (  I just finished reading Unlocked by Karen Kingsbury and there was a suicide in that book too.  It was so sad 'cause at the last minute the boy changed his mind and didn't want to go through with ending his life, but it was too late.

I really enjoyed reading about the different friendships in this book.  No, I haven't read anything from this author before, but I am getting ready to start another of her books tonight.

I think that's interesting how the author used to be a professor but retired from that so she could use her time to write books.

When you was little tell you and I group of friends ever do anything like this ,  I reember talking to our little group of friends about our hopes & dreams, but we never wrote anything down like that.if so have you ever contact the  friends since you have be grown to see if anything wrong out like you plan  Just in the past few years I have been touch with some of my old friends.  It has been interesting to see the pathes our lives have taken since then.

Do you have dreams from your little girl time that God has given you by in a different way that you though he would. My life has not followed the plan I had purposed in my heart as a young teenage girl.  God has given me a life better than I ever imagined possible.

Tish dad take his own life have you ever had to deal with this. I have been acquainted with a few people who have taken their own lives, but I have never been real close to anyone who has.

What Christian values were most important in the book to you.  I agree that it is a book about forgiveness and that "God can make all things work out for good to those who love the Lord & are called to HIs purpose."  (Romans 8:28).

Which one of the four girls outcome must surprise you and why I think I was most surprised by Ellie too.

 I really liked this passage:

"Then remember these lines, if you heed nothing else," Hazael went on. "Time can make it easier to be wise...All that you need is patience."

"What does it mean?"

"It means," Hazael sighed,"that if you wait with hope , you will find wisdom. Wisdom comes not through the mind with understanding, but from the heart through trusting.  Have faith, child.  With God there are no mistakes, no missed opportunities, no irredeemable failures--only lessons to be learned."

It's taken me most of my life to learn to this too!
