Define crazy?

I hear people use the word "crazy" too loosely!!!!!I mean in my opinion of crazy is someone who has severe mental problems.Such as a condition.But, I still wouldn't call them crazy, I would just say that they were mentally ill!!!!That is no different than somebody that had any other heath condition,I mean people ought to be ashamed of themselves because mental illness is a real condition that people can not help.And i am wondering why these people that call other people crazy have the nerve to call someone crazy and think that they life is "normal"?Just because some people may not do stuff like you would do it doesn't make them crazy!!!!It just makes them different and that is what we are suppose to be is different from everybody.And whose to say that what the majority is doing is the norm but if you go against the norm then your crazy?I am sure back in biblical days when jesus was doing things out of the norm, people surely thought that he was crazy?I wanted some feedback on this because people really kill me with this!!!!

Crazy has many definintions.  To use it as "mad" is correct, but to also use it as "out of the ordinary" is also correct, along with a few other meanings. 

Maybe the emphasis you are observing when people are calling others crazy is what is getting under your skin.  They are being dismissive and judgemental, it sounds.  Is that what it is?

Well, I just think that people use it too loosely.Like when people think that somebody ain't got it all, they say they crazy, or if somebody is a tripp they say they crazy, or if you hear a man talk about his girl, the men always say that they girl is crazy.........I just don't like that term because of this.Because now a days most people if you look at it are called crazy at some point in there lives.The more someone says that to a person they may get a complex and end up crazy for real because these people are speaking it into their lives!!!!!!!!!The bible even talks about speaking something into existence into somebody's life.And then I noticed that at lot of people will be quick to say someone else is crazy but if someone jokingly says the same to them, then they get fighting mad and will holla "I ain't crazy!'But yet be so quick to say that to other people so what I get is these people are meaning it in a bad way and not a joking way .I am talking about the ones that get upset.Or is it that they get upset because they really do think they crazy and when you call them that, it hits a nerve?

That is soooo backwards and I see why you are annoyed by it!  LOL! 

All you can do is stress how you feel about certain words to your children and let people know how to address you, the same with any word. 

They probably do think they are crazy and don't want anyone to give up their secret...  LMAO!
