to refer to your ds or nephew as sexy?
I remember when my ds just had a haircut the previous night and I picked him up from his provider - another mother told me my son's sideburns were 'sexy' -- he was 2. I did not reply, because what I thought to say would have caused trouble, I acted as if I did not hear her.
What do you think?
I wouldn't associate those terms with kids. While it's true that you may be able to imagine that child turning to an adult with those features or seeing an adult with those features which you may think that term applies, it just does not work for children. They are not sexual beings.
I agree 100% and it is usually boys that get this adjective. "look at my sexy man" "me and my sexy little man" so NOT cute!

No, not cool....better watch out when he does come of age she might just be sitting on the sideline waiting! lol
but all jokes aside that is not cool to refer to a child boy or girl as sexy.....jmo
I've heard of people doing it....hell, I've heard people doing it...but I don't do that with my DD's. That's the last thing I need to be putting in their heads at such young ages!
Well this was 10-11 years ago, ds will be 13.

It's a strange word to choose but I don't think I'd be upset if someone referred to one of my kids like that because it's not as if someone is actually looking at the child as being "sexy". I think it's the new catchy word to use
