If you could say one thing to your father, what would it be...

I would tell my father that I forgive him. And even though he was never there, I still love him because without him I would not be the woman I am today, so Thank You.

mmm, anything I need to say to mine I just have to drive 15 minutes to him and my mother's house and say it.  They've been married for 44 years.  I'm sorry that your father wasn't there for you.

I wish you were there for me. I really needed you through a lot and you were never there.

Your presence isn't enough. It would be nice if u were more involved. Its more to being a dad than being there w out communicating. When mama died I lost both of my parents, she might as well been single.

I wish that you would've made different choices because they ultimately affected our family. Throughout everything though, I love you and always will. I'll forever be daddy's little girl and I hope you're changing for the better now. I'd love for you to be more involved in my childrens lives.

I would say "f**k you. And grow the hell up!" Obviously I still have some things to work out with him. I just don't want to. I'm stubborn, and he's aggravating, so this is all I have to say.

I hear a lot of women saying that they want to marry someone like their fathers. Well, if I married someone like you, I'd divorce him. Oh wait, I did marry someone like you and we're divorced. I don't really care too much you, sir.

But you can feel free to pay my carnote for me. Thank ya kindly.

Thats wonderful that your parents have been married for 44 years, thats great. Please dont be sorry for me, because I am not, lol. Though it would have been great to have him in my life, I can still hold my head high and be thankful that I married an amazing man that will never be the father that he was.
