I have started hitting the treadmill and realized that reducing the sweets I eat, will kill off some of these extra calories. I'm being conscious of the sweet drinks and sodas and have stopped picking up candy from the school bookstore every day.
OMG, the girl scout cookies came in and about three parents hit me up. So I probably have 6 boxes or so. I'm going to have to give them away. I just enjoyed a half box of Samoas over the last 3 hours. And someone at my job just put Krispy Kreme donuts in the break room.
I'm really going to have to overcome this sweets thing if I want to reach my weight loss goal.
Haha Same here I've heard its because I'm having a girl but whatever the reason I feel the need to have sugar ALL OF THE TIME!
Right now, about 25 lbs by next January. I would like to strive for more, but my schedule is crazy so I can only work out a few days per week. I figured I'd go for 2lbs per month. I really could stand to lose more.

I am a junk food addict! Chocolate, cake, cookies, pies, etc. I'm trying to cut back though so that I can lose weight. How much are u trying to lose?
Sorry, not much help given that I am a bonafide junk food junkie! Never even experienced a sugar rush until, that is, I ate Krispy Kreme donuts for the first time this pass October. I counted nine. But the experience of wanting to climb a wired fence by my fingernails...doing a somersault...then starting all over, was enough for me! I didn't know...just didn't know!

Sweets *were* my biggest problem. I went 49 days without any sugar, in any form. If I can do it anybody can do it! And I lost 18 pounds from just cutting out the sugar and turning down my appetite thermometer (eating smaller portions) . I am confident I will be to my goal weight in the next couple of months. Hang in there, it is hard but well worth it - your health deserves it :)
BTW - I ate sweets for the first time this past weekend (chocalate chip cookie sundae from WildFire) and I promise I could only stand a few bites.
