Beyonce addresses surrogacy rumors

Posted by   + Show Post
One thing you will not do, is talk about Tina Knowles grandbaby. She don’t play..

Last year, after Beyonce’s stomach appeared to collapse as she took her seat during an Australian talk show interview, the internet started swirling with rumors. ‘Beyonce’s faking her pregnancy’, ‘There’s no way a baby is in there‘ and ‘She definitely has a surrogate‘, was the water cooler talk in company break rooms and gossip fodder across the net over the next few months leading up to Blue Ivy Carter’s birth.   Although Beyonce later revealed in a sit down with Katie Couric that she wasn’t bothered by the silly rumors, her mom definitely wasn’t amused.

Now, as we’ve all grown to love Baby Blue (what little bit we’ve seen of her), People mag has thrust the fake pregnancy rumors back into the spotlight in their recent interview with Beyonce for the ‘Most Beautiful People issue’. When Bey was asked if she was hurt by the rumors that she had a surrogate carry her child, she replied, ‘It wasn’t hurtful, it was just crazy. [I thought] ‘Where did they come up with this?’. Tina, however, had a little more to say.

“I thought it was very unfair and very cruel that someone would think that someone would be that

Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could; some blunders and absurdities have crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; you shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense.

i've never heard of a celebrity doing that either, I'm pretty sure their body gaurds wouldnt let people get tht close to them let alone their belly, especially someone as high profile as beyonce

Quoting Pink_Sunshine:

No I've never heard of a non-Celebrity using padding to protect their children that would be pointless wouldn't it?

Quoting Bethea7:

I've never heard of anybody wearing padding to protect their child lol

Quoting Pink_Sunshine:

I don't. If you were a Celebrity and you were pregnant, would you go out in public without padding to protect your Child? Or would you take the chance of someone bumping into your Womb?

Quoting leaniece:

so, no one finds that interview clip of her sitting down a little suspicious??? She probably had the baby, but why would her stomach do that?

i have to say i never thought she was faking. so what her oversized dress moved? we are so used to seeing her w/o clothes or in tight clothes so this is the first time she's covered herself up. the only thing that bugs me about her is her shy act. it's no way your are shaking your ass in front of millions and then going to claim a shy alter-ego. come on now.

i had to go the article because the above of part of it. here's the rest:

“I thought it was very unfair and very cruel that someone would think that someone would be that diabolical to keep up a charade like that for nine months. As a mother it was painful for me to hear the crazy rumors. And I even had people ask me, which was so ridiculous.”

And in regards to the folding dress debacle (which was believed my many to be a prosthetic belly), Tina explained:

It was a fabric that folded — does fabric not fold? Oh my gosh, so stupid.

Tina definitely shut that down quick!

There's a lot of things we haven't heard of Celebrities doing. After all we don't live in their homes. I didn't know what a lace front wig was for years until I googled it and realized B and Tyra wore them.
