Do u have one? Mine is sugar... it just might be the death of me....ice cream is just too good. I've tried to give it up and I could only do it for nine days. I noticed a difference in my eyesight, my skin....but my cravings got the best of me...I gave up my stashes of candy...gave up soda (way too much sugar) but I cannot give up ice cream...I just can't. Giving up sugar is harder than u may think.
Try looking for no added sugar on your ice cream a local large chain store here in my area carries it in their brand, Turkey Hill has a low sugar variety these are made with Splenda which isn't much better. Blue Bell is another brand witha low sugar variety.
My addiction mayonaise. Tried low fat NOT made with Canola Oil Nahhhh tried switching brands Nope like my Hellman's.
Can't help it. Did go from putting it on both slices of bread to only one.
I think you may have the hardest addiction of all.....I never smoked but my dad stopped with chewing gum and toothpicks...whenever he would have a strong desire to smoke a cigarette, he would breathe deeply, drink something, eat something, walk or do anything else to distract him from the urge. I heard cravings to smoke pass after just a few seconds or minutes. Stay strong! Good luck!
Quoting Afganmother:
Cigarettes, but hopefullt today is my last day. Started the patch!!
I can say its pretty hard, but it will be a total of 48 hours in about 4 hours so thats great for me. Thanks!!
