Omg!! I need serious help! It took FOREVER to get King to switch from his bottle to his cup. We finally achieved that a month ago or so. The issue I'm having is he won't drink milk anymore. I've tried putting sugar in his milk. I've tried chocolate milk. Its gotten to the point where he will look to see of its milk in his cup before he drinks it. Idle what to do now. I'm sure he still should be drinking milk right? Any suggestions?

Have you tried giving him alternative milks(soy, almond, hemp)..If you are worried about his calcium intake try yogurt, cheese, dark leafy veggies, grains,waffles..that's all i can think of right now..

Talk to his pediatric doctor about, but if he's getting calcium in cheese and yogurts than he will be okay. I would not put sugar or chocolate in his milk because milk has a lot of sugar in it already.  And unless you plan on brushing his teeth and rising out is mouth after consumption, than I really would advice against adding sugar and chocolate to his milk. Just increase his yogurt intake, and cheese. Also try some of the other milks that's on the market, organic, or rice, almond, and soy milk products he may like some of these.

But don't forget to mention to his pediatric doctor on his next visit.

I wish you all the best.

1 mom liked this

I have not suggestions. My son associates milk with his bottle and refuses to drink it from his cup at home, but when his butt is at the sitter he drinks it from the cup smh. Don't really worry because he still gets the benefits of milk from cheese, yogurt etc.

The sugar was suggested by a friend I figured I'd try it lol I'll try anything at this point! He doesn't eat things like vegetables cheese yogurt because...he.my child and apparently has my OCD. If he don't like the way something feel when he pick it up he dropping it and refusing to try it. Idk he weird. Thanks tho I will definitely be talking to his Dr.

Do you think he would drink a veggie smoothie(veggies mixed with a little watered down juice) great way be sneaky and get veggies into the diet..

Yea try mixing veggie smoothie w/his juice. Carrots are gkod b/c its naturally sweet. Also I smash tje veggies & feed it along w/the starch or meat so he doesn't see it lol. Don't stress out try a multivitamin. My boy is sorta picky too, its nerve wrecking.

I would try some gummy/fruity tasting calcium supplements....or even wholefood supplements that have calcium for children. Soy like bizz said is a good alternative.
