I disagree . . although "breast is best", it should be a mother's choice, not forced because she has no other option . .

Mayor Bloomberg wants to think for people. Like they are mindless and can't decide for themselves what's best for them and their families.
I'm totally pro-breast feeding my 31 month ds is still breast feeding, but that is my choice.
Bloomberg seems to what to take away a person's right to choose.
And that's just wrong.

Exactly! Some women aren't able to nurse. In 2004 I had a lumpectomy and one of the potential side effects was I might not be able to nurse when I gave birth, thankfully I was able. I have a girlfriend who wanted to, tried to and finally the pediatrician told her to stop!

Why are men so intent on telling us what to do with our bodies? Those times ended years ago.

Breast is the best..but a women has the right to choose. Some women can't breast feed because physiological issues or because of economical issues. Not all women have the financial means to stay at home from work and breast feed.  Although pumping and storing is a possible consideration it is not always feasible.
