Jr. High or Middle School?

Where I'm from you'd go to both
Elementary K-5
Middle 6,7
Junior 8,9
High 10-12
But now middle and junior high are combined 6-8 and freshman are 9th graders.
I went to middle school only…

Mine was like this too. But 6-8 was still considered middle school though.

Jr. High usually 7,8&9th grades. Middle school 6,7&8th grade. Intermediate schools 5,6&7th grades to finish 7th&8th in Jr. High.

I'm westcoast too! I went to Jr. High! Then after that they had middle schools. Some did already! Some still don't.

Neither. My elementary school went from K to 8th, then I went straight to high school.

Our high-school started at 7th grade, and some if the classes had 7th-9th graders in them the only thing that was split was lunch.
