I always seem to need or forget something. I'm a new mom and wondering what I should have in my diaper bag.

Wipes

bids

change of cloths

diapers

extra blanket

booties or socks

if you are breast feeding a blanket to cover up

if you are not breast feeding then you need your formula, bottles, purified water to mix formula.

1 mom liked this
When they get to the snack/eating stage have something for them as well as a favorite toy or two.

My little guy isn't really new anymore but in his bag I always keep

Diapers

Wipes

A complete change of clothes (top, bottom, onesie, socks, bib)

Changing pad

A few toys

Enough bottles to cover the outing

An extra paci (because he will raise hell over those things)

A blanket

A small ziplock bag that has his thermometer, a nose sucker thingy, travel size lotion and diaper cream

Hope this helps

Brush, comb, hat, socks, thermometer, nose sucker, lotion, q tips, face towel, recieving blanket, fuzzy blanket, baggy for soiled clothes, bag for dirty diapers, emergency card, hand sanitizer, but cream, paci, and 20 for emergencies. I think that's all I've needed so far and hopefully all I will need.

Amongst what others have said, reviving blankets. They come in handy, I use them as a makeshift changing pad, I use them for burp blankets, blankets to whipe ds's face after he nurses. I use them to cover up when nursing too.

My daughter will be 3 next month and she's a snacker and she loves books. So I always keep some snack crackers , a book a pull up just in case we're out for a while. I also keep a change of clothes in the car.
