I didnt have one but I really wanted one badly. My sister, mother, and even my grandmother had one. I wasnt allowed to because I'm mixed with Japanese and my mom said it would mess up my hair. But I sure wanted one soooo bad! LOL!

 I had one-kept it real short. I didn't know people were still getting jheri curls done-I passed a shop in Tampa a few weeks back, big bold letters advertising jheri curls.

Yep, I had to do a double take-next  time I'm in Tampa, I gotta take a pic- the shop was up an running too I believe-I saw a few cars (hopefully folks were getting something other than jheri curls LOL).

I wanted one so badly, but my parents could not afford the maintenance. I wanted it because people claimed it made your hair grow; I was teased daily about having short kinky hair-I thought that the Jheri Curl would be my savior.
