I'm trying to fing the pereimter of an irregular polygon with missing sides. It seems easy but then I get confused. WE could wait until our tutoing session bu the problem is pissing me off. LOL

So???? Who can help? It's one were several sides are missing and I know there must be an easy formula.

How many sides does the polygon have. And how many sides did they already give you the number for and what are those numbers? Then I can write you up a quick formula and solve it

Not me! I'm struggling over here with my own homework. I'm trying my hardest to solve these rational expressions. Did I mention this already a developmental math class? LOL!

So I feel like there us a simple formula ----I know I'm doing too many steps to get the answer. There has to be an easier way.

31-18 = 13

25-13=12  (the horizontal section just above the 25m)

20+20+12+31+25+18 = 126 m

The perimetre is 126 metres

126. The four missing sides are 6,6,8 and 12.

How were you calculating to get the answer?  Just curious if it was a shorter method than what I had.
