And you're about to find out.
My 13 year old had the nerve to get an attitude with me because as we were walking down the stairs his ass was dragging his backpack for the 1700th time and so I said ---"Pick up the back pack."
This fool picked it up and raised it over his head with a straight arm. So I told him that he had to carry it that way all the way to the car and not to lower it until we got inside the car.
How are you going to get an attitude with me after I have told you a mutha effn gazillion times!!???!!
And now he wants to go ice skating with his boys-----So sorry busta.
How long does this stank phase last. It doesn't help that my husband is out of town on business either.
I know I could be dealing with a lot worse----but I can't stand no attitude having adolescent!!!

Some people recognize the light but they can't handle the glare.
DD (9) has had an attitude lately. She is really trying my patience. I had to threaten her life a few days ago, lol. It worked, but i'm dreading the teen years. I may end up in jail.
From my experience, that attitude is going to last throughout all of the teenage years. He's testing his manhood limits with his parents. Some days will be super while other days will be so so bad that you'll be questioning your parenting skills and his common sense. Have tons of patience is the best I have for you.
I hear you! I tell my children that NOBODY is cooperative with a person who has a nasty attitude all the time---especially one that is not justified.
