no id teach her to embrace all things about herself... if she wants a change she can try high quality sew in weaves i guess

I wouldn't recommend...only bc I tried it on oldest...bad idea!! I would just wait..."banding" is a way to straighten without heat...gotta Google it;)) or flat iron

Nope never will .my munchkins hair can be managed just takes time.this may sound mean but I think when a parent perms a young child's hair it's a cop out.

This all the way! I won't be putting any chemicals in my daughter's hair. I think the whole "I did it because it's so hard to manage" line is an excuse for not wanting to out in the work. Like you said it's a cop out. Take the time to find what works for your child's hair, educate yourself and find other alternatives to achieve the look you want.

Nope.

I've been telling her that her hair is beautiful exactly how it is. She just needs to learn to manage it.

I perm my two daughters' hair, they are 10 and 11. I don't regret it.. It's more manageable...

My oldest has a relaxer. Has been getting them since third grade. My seven year old gets a wash and blow out or flat iron.
