DH broke ds bed..lol He's in dd bed for the pic. We are going to replace it but not sure if he's gonna last much longer in a toddler bed. He'll be 4 in late August. Is it time to upgrade to a twin?

My DD is turning 5 in 2 weeks, she still sleeps in her toddler bed.

My son turned five last Spring and he got a new bed two weeks ago.

He looks just fine to me. Still has plenty of room. My in-laws bought our boys bunk beds 2 years ago. They love them. My boys are ages 5 and 3

Might as well upgrade now instead of having buying two beds.

He looks like he can get another year out of it.

I was leaning more towards a toddler bed. Thank you!

How is it with one of them on the top bunk? Did you worry?

Yes I did worry so we took them down to the two twin beds. We just decided yesterday that by this summer we would stack them back up. My oldest will be in the top with the rail. He's 5 and isn't scared or anything. My youngest is fine on the bottom. I no longer worry about him rolling out of the bed. He was the one I was worried about because the bottom bunk doesnt have a rail.

I can't beleive how big he's gotten! I didn't switch my son to a bigger bed until he turned 5. Hes now in a full sized bed. But in your case, I would just go ahead and get him the twin bed now instead of buying the toddler now and having to upgrade when he grows out of it probably next year.
