I am thinking about letting my hair grow out enough to get some braids. I am thinking about transitioning to wigs so my hair can grow out I go to to the hair salon every two weeks it's starting to get expensive.I have some wig ideas but I don't really want anything to extreme being it's hot in the south.I was just going to let my stylist do some quick weaves but I have heard so many horror stories about the weaves damaging your hair. What can I do to grow my hair out by the fall? That's how short my hair is in the above picture.

I think a wig is a good idea. It covers your hair, it's easily removed and it doesn't require any hair being left out most of the time. That way you can keep your hair washed and moisturized under there. The only downfall is that it might cause you to sweat on really hot days. But I still think it's the next best thing to wearing your own hair out.
