I AM CURIOUS HOW OFTEN DO YOU PURCHASE NEW SHOES FOR YOUR CHILDREN. MY FRIEND AND I ARE HAVING A DEBATE. THANKS

I just purchase shoes for my daughter whenever I see a pair that we just CANT live without or if I buy her an outfit and she needs a certain type or color. So to answer your question I guess I buy her shoes whenever the need arises even if it is more than once a week.LOL

I have 1 & 3 year old boys. They have flat wide feet and when they play... they play hard. My oldest tends to need a new pair more often b/c he is older( growing faster too!) But I am so glad that the lil' one can get a few more uses out of his. I am a bit of a shoe fanatic and I cringe when I see lil boys nice and neat and groomed well.... but when you get to the shoes.... It is a whole new thang' going on. If there is a really good sale and I can't pass it up... I buy almost 9 times out of 10.

I WAS HAVING THIS DISCUSSION WITH MY FRIEND, SHE ACCUSED ME OF BEING OBSESSIVE. I DO BUY ALOT OF SHOES FOR EVERYONE IN THE HOUSE BECAUSE I HATE TO SEE SHOES DESTROYED, ESPECIALLY WHITE. I THINK A NASTY PAIR OF SHOES MESSES UP A WHOLE OUTFIT. I GUESS I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO BUYS SHOES WHEN YOU SEE A PAIR YOU LOVE. I AM ESPECIALLY BAD WITH MY DAUGHTER, BECAUSE SHE DOESNT REALLY WEAR SNEAKERS OFTEN. I BUY MORE SHOES AND SANDELS. THANKS LADIES.

I AM BAD. Seriously bad about this. I have a big foot so I can't ever find shoes, but I am absolutely in LOVE with shoes!! So, me having 3 beautiful little girls of course I'm living my shoe fetish through them. I will buy them shoes instead of toys. It's awful. :) My five year old, I buy her shoes whenever I see some on clearance or if she changes sizes we go on a shopping spree and buy a few pair. We try not to buy too many of one size because her feet grow so fast but now she can hand them down to her little sisters so we are a bit crazy.
Just in the past month I've bought at least 3 pairs of shoes for each of my kids. There were some cute fake-leather boots on clearance at Wal-Mart for $3 so I didn't get myself into too much trouble with that one. Then I used my Payless gift card and went to their BOGO sale. My baby is finally in a size .. where she can wear size 1 or 2 shoes. It's too cute. :)
BUT.. I never spend more than $20 on shoes for them. Never have, never will (until teen years of course).
