whats the average daily weight gain of a efb infant?

Weight gain varies widely with each EBF infant as their sizes vary and their needs vary widely.  You do not need to go by weight gain to determine if they are getting enough though.  Not sure if that is what you are asking but if your baby has 6-8 diapers a day, then they are getting plenty and should be gaining adequate weight.

Weekly is better than daily weight gain..0-4 months its 5-7 oz a week...then goes down to 4-5 oz a week til 6 months...theres a great hcart on kellymom.com

And one more thought...don't weigh the baby. Scales lie. I can get three different weights in five minutes on the very same scale.

COUNT DIPES. Output reflects input. Only worry about weight if dipes and milestones aren't there.

And google this title: "Look at the baby not the scale."
