My 4 month old is fighting so much at the breast. She only eats for a few minutes and then screams when I try to get her to eat some more. What can I do?

She might just be done. Babies become a lot more efficient and can get their fill in as little as five minutes! Also, this age is when Baby often gets distracted, so try nursing in a quiet dimly lit room to see if that helps.

I am Andi. I am a 21 year old breastfeeding, baby in sling, cloth diapering momma of two. I am a WIC Breastfeeding Peer Counselor, hoping to become an IBCLC. Ask me about my Momma-Made cloth diapers, CD'ing accessories and baby slings!

Most likely she's just done. But it could be teething.
