OT Hotsling question

I ordered a hotsling..and I was wondering..can you do a cradle carry for nursing a baby over 4 months? My son is 4 months, and 20 lbs. The site says 0-4 for cradle carry. Is that bc of weight, or just when babies find it most comfy? Thanks!
